We bought this for my 6 month old daughter. This rattle in particular does not have a super loud rattle, but is great for her to gum. One thing I really like about this one is that I can get down on the floor to play with her and put one end of it in my mouth and hold it with my teeth and shake my head around to make it rattle. She finds it absolutely HILARIOUS and grabs on the other end to try to shake it/me for more sound. For just four bucks, I don't think you can go wrong. To this daddy, that's a small price to pay for something that can get some quality giggle time.

I really like how my 4month old daughters fingers fit in/around this toy very easily. She is able to get a really good grasp. Not really a "Rattle" as the little balls don't really make any noise... not a complaint (it's kinda nice)

My LO(4months old) loves this! It’s easy for him to hold and he seems to actually enjoy it whereas other toys haven’t quite caught his attention. My only complaint is that there seems to be a sharp piece on the end(possibly where they were cut/separated during manufacturing. I plan to file it down with a nail file. Hopefully that will fix it. Otherwise I am completely happy with this purchase.

My 13 month old son LOVES his bell. When he opened it on Christmas morning, he ignored every other gift. He uses it to make "music" and the handle is one of his favorite teethers.

So we are working on sitting up but our little guy is super lazy when it comes to actually practicing. He is almost 6 months. He loves the ball from the same brand so I figured he would like this toy and he really does! Super easy to hold. It makes some light noise when he shakes it and I love that it gets him to practice sitting up as he plays with it.

Our little boy loves this rattle - it is colorful, is easy for him to grab hold of, the little plastic balls make noises he likes, and he can munch on it as he's teething. We've wiped it with soapy water, never immersed it, and we've not had any problems with water retention or condensation. It is robust, seems totally safe, and survives being thrown from his high chair. What else do you need from a rattle?!
