My grand daughter, who is almost 1, loved this bell. It easily fit in her little hand and she enjoyed using the handle as a teether. The bell seems safely secured inside and toy feels sturdy.

This was the absolute favorite Christmas present - he figured out how to ring it and it made a LOT of noise for the effort. The noise was not tinny and annoying (okay, maybe on a long car ride it would get to that point). The bell tone was decently tuneful to not grate. The bell is heavy for the little one but still manageable... and I figure the extra arm strength will help with crawling shortly :). It is a quality musical instruments for the very young. They take care to make them musical rather than just tinny/plasticky. The brightly colored instruments get kids interested but the quality of the sound really makes their instruments heads above the other brands because it helps to develop an appreciation for music

My 6-month old loves this although it's still a little heavy for her. We've used it during musical story time at the library and the sound is great--not tinny or too toy-like.

This is a great bell for toddlers. My grandson loves bells and likes having his own. He can watch the clanger and easily carry the bell with him. We like that the bell has a low tone so it isn't annoying. The bell itself is very sturdy and well-constructed, practically indestructible. My grandson in 19 months.

My son is very musically inclined and he loves to ring this bell. Thankfully it has a sound that isn't "crazy" inducing. It keeps him entertained and doesn't give me a headache. It's also beautiful and fits nicely his little hand.

Purchased this bell for my 17 month old granddaughter who loves anything musical. As soon as I showed it to her and jingled the bell she smiled. We went to the store and she took it with her. I would say 'jingle jingle jingle' and she would pick up the bell and jingle it and laugh. It's the perfect size for her little hand and so far seems sturdy enough but time will tell(that's why the 4 stars). If your child or grandchild enjoys musical instruments and enjoys the sound of chimes she/he will love this bell.
