work for holding cable in place. You have to clean the area or the item won't stick. Some materials will not adhere well. Overall they work, but not for channeling cable.

I love this cable management gadget. I stuck it on the back of office door and use it to hang all the device cables when not in use. So now my desk is clutter free of these cables. This cable holder has an adhesive strip on the back, so sticking to wall, door, or desktop is an option. All the cables stay in place, just as illustrated.

Sticky part won't stick to varnished furniture. I bought 2 of these, one for my office, one for my side bed. The one on my office is fine, I have it on a wood area that is not varnished. The one by my bedside keeps falling off. I can't seem to make it stay constantly so it defeats it's purpose.
