This made my Grandmother's life so much easier! She cares for my uncle who's recently started suffering from dementia. He's digressed to eating only purred food which means that his ever growing number of pills need to be crushed. My Grandma was so grateful for this crusher because she was able to use it easily without aggravating the arthritis in her hands.

Perfect pill crusher for small pills. My cat is on a hyperthyroid medication, one half of a small pill twice a day. Tried burying it in her food but she works around it. By crushing the pill I am now able to disguise it in her food.

Works wonderfully. I use it to crush two melatonin pills a day for my crazy cat. It's so much better than crushing with two spoons! I don't know why I didn't look for this a long time ago. Like everyone else says, don't bother storing pills in the top because they'll just fall out if you travel with it.

Good, but not great. You have to screw down the crusher the first time, then unscrew the top and shake up the contents a bit, and repeat the process... sometimes several times if you want a fine powder without any small chunks. Still beats having to try to swallow larger pills!

This is a great product, but not perfect. I do like the fact that it is much easier on my arthretic hands and fingers and gives me more leverage than other pill crushers I have seen. I have to smash pills up for my dog to take as she won't take them without me mixing the powdered pill with her food. This pill crusher does a good job, but I still have to finish crushing the larger particles that remain. That is not handy, but much better than trying to do it without the crusher's assistance. I would buy this again, but like I said, it's not perfect.

This is a GREAT device!! I have a supplement that is a huge pill and is very hard to swallow. I crush the pill with this and mix it with a little applesauce. This pill crusher turns really easily, and I do not have strong hands and arms. Also, it is designed so the powder from the crushed pill does not get caught up in the threads of the screw so that's a great feature too.

I was skeptical but it really works. I put my cat's 3 pills in, turn the top, it easily screws down, and the pills are crushed. To make sure the pills are very finely ground up, I unscrew a little bit, and screw back down. There are no chunks, completely powder. Very pleased with this purchase. I probably could have gone with the small one for the pills I needed, but this way in case she gets more in the future I'm ready. I included a picture of Excedrin & Motrin in it for size reference. Also, the top is really deep and could store pills if needed.

I was hesitant with the negative reviews this received, but last night I cut 50 pills in half. They were all thick and oblong as well. I then proceeded to use the grinding feature on just one pill and I was quite impressed. The pill was turned powder. This device is incredible and I will continue to use it to crush my thicker pills so that I can consume them easier. A rating

Absolutely the best way to give pills to pets or small children. I have a cat that has to take two pills daily, I pop them in give a spin and pour over food. Done No blood sweat or tears. I have recommended this one to friends and they are as happy as we are, my only regret is that I didn't get one sooner.
