The pill cutter works great and makes very accurate cuts even on small pills. My only gripe is that I find it difficult to open quickly and if you don't have any type of fingernail you'll have issues opening the cutter. Additionally, it's very difficult to determine which end is the end that should be opened without taking a more in-depth look instead of a quick glance. I thnk it would have been much better if the side to be opened had a mark to make it more obvious or some type of tab which you could easily recognize.

With all of the medications I take, this pill cutter definitely comes in handy! I love the splitter guard because I have little kids and the security of knowing that they can not injure themselves if they were to grab it made this a must buy for me!

This product is both accurate in description and actual results. My 14-year old dog takes a quarter of a pill twiceday. These pills are oval, thick, and I couldn't cut them to accurate dosage by hand and knife (plus this was dangerous[made extra dangerous by my naturally clumsy nature], so I needed something that worked. That is this product! No hesitation, I would recommend it to anyone who has to cut pills for sizedosing.
