Method of Use

1 Unlocking: Align the correct dial to the line (the line whose line is aligned with the triangle below the triangle) and then pull up the lock ring to open the lock.

2 Password adjustment depends on the instruction manual

Tips

1 First put the password disk in the current password bit, as shown in the figure (here the initial password is 0000 as an example)

2 Pull up the hook, here you need to pay attention to the small inside of the root of the lower hook and a small groove, which will be useful in the rear adjustment.

3 Rotate the hook 90°C counterclockwise and press it hard. The small bump just needs to be completely inside the lock and cannot be seen.

4 The third step is to hold the lock hook in the end, then continue to rotate 90 °C in the counterclockwise direction, and release the hand as shown in the figure, the small protrusion at the bottom of the lock hook is still completely inside the lock body.

5 Turn the password disk to the required password

6 The new password will take effect after the hook is rotated to the initial position.

Bought 2 locks, one for each of our suitcases. Used on a number of overseas trips. Seem very sturdy for their size. On our recent trip to South Africa, our suitcases, for some reason, did not return with us. We did receive them a week later fully intact, except the locks were missing. I'm assuming TSA removed them to inspect and then neglected to put them back on. Purchasing 2 more now. Liked the feel of the locks, and they were easy to program with new numbers.

As far as luggage locks are concerned, these seem to be quality built, with the benefit of be TSA approved for convenience. Will be traveling shortly with the locks and will the review after seeing these in action. No idea if/how these will survive after going through TSA. Kudos to "desired things" for reaching out ahead of time!

Excellent! I was checking in a weekend bag that had no obvious place for a lock. The loop on this lock was thin enough (and strong enough) to pass through the eyeholes of the double zippers on my bag. I will be buying a few more of them to leave on every bag I have!

Good lock set-up instructions. The lock offers 4 digit combinations and with 4 digits there is over 5000 combinations to chose from, so that's enough to thwart a quick grab thief. The thief will most likely break the lock first before trying that many combinations! I recommend the product. Don't forget to write your passcode somewhere.

TSA friendly, heavy strong, high visibility locks. Simple combination procedure and secures your stuff as you know how airport luggage ? has its issues. Good purchase and since you get 2 now got one for my carry-on to keep secure in the cabin overhead. Great product and a worthwhile purchase for me. Exceeded my expectations.

Excellent TSA approved luggage locks to keep your bag closed when checked. 4 digit code much more difficult to defeat then the 3 digit models. If you check a bag you need these locks. Highly recommended.

These are my second set of locks from desired tools. They're great little locks that are easy to use and reset. I am quickly going towards a keyless house because who can ever find those darn keys or even remember which is which? I love the bright colors because this does not get lost. I had a friend tell me these are really easy to pop open, and you know what I've always said about locks, they keep the honest person who might be thinking twice about going the other way honest. You can only hope for so much, and I think this will discourage any but the most determined thief.
