I'm not sure how one compares luggage locks, but I'm very happy with these. In the past, we had used locks with tiny keys that invariably were misplaced from time to time. Imagine the freak-out moment when you've traveled internationally for 12 hours only to realize that you cannot find you luggage keys! Well these solve that problem by using a code. You set a code (easy to do), and you're done. While you can set a code for each individual lock, we set the same code on the same lock for ease.

Bought these for a little peace of mind when we go on cruises and stay in places with no safes in the rooms. NOT that we leave anything of value in the room. But just if you want to lock your make-up or costume jewellery or that old flip phone that you don't care about but wouldn't want to see it go missing. On the cruises we usually leave the suitcases out in the hallway for disembarkation and I always feel a bit more secure if I know that someone isn't rummaging through me drawers.

I travel a significant amount of time overseas some rather challenging operating environments. These add a bit more protection for all the things I need to take with me. I lock it between multiple items and a secured item in my room to make it a bit hard for someone to "borrow" from my hotel room or client site. Good product.
